Navy Wins Charles Dutton Tourney; SAWPC Leads Connor Cup Series

 March 7 - The 19th Annual Charles Dutton Memorial Tournament was played this past weekend in Southlake, TX. The Dallas ...
...Water Polo Club event had three divisions: Men’s Open A, Men’s Open B, and Women’s Division. Teams from throughout the state and as far away as the Naval Academy from Annapolis, Maryland came and competed hard in the two day event. The Naval Academy played for the first time in Texas and came away with the first place trophy in the Men’s Open A Division. The San Antonio Water Polo Club led the way of the local Texas teams beating Dallas A by a single goal in the round robin competition. In the Men’s Open B Division, Tomball came away with the championship outlasting Denton in the 1st place game. St Marks beat Dallas B for 3rd place in the B Division. In the Women’s Open Division, Dallas Women beat Air Force in a hard fought championship. Houston Storm beat Denton in the consolation game for the women.
