 REMINDER: ONLINE REGISTRATIONS DUE MAY 5th:The Southwest Zone Olympic Development Program (ODP) Camp is an opportunity for athletes to develop...
...their skills and learn the American system of water polo created by Guy Baker & Terry Schroeder (2008 USA Olympic Team Head Coaches). The system has a strong emphasis on fundamentals to develop a technical, tactical, physical and psychological base to enhance skills and enjoyment of the sport. The USA Water Polo National ODP Head Coaches (Kim Everist and James Lathrop) will be operating the camp and insuring the best learning environment. Additionally, the Southwest ODP Zone Head Zone Coaches and local club coaches from around the zone will fill the remaining camp staff. Athletes who participate in the camp may be selected to be part of the USA Water Polo National Team Selection Camps this June (92U and 94U age groups ONLY) and/or will have the opportunity to be part of the Southwest Zone ODP Program, beginning this September 2010 (94U, 96, and 97U age groups).
Camp Dates & Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, May 8-9, 2010
Saturday May 8th:
12:00-1:00 pm: Check-In
1:00-4:00 pm: Water Session #1
4:00-5:00 pm: Break
5:00-8:00 pm: Water Session #2
Sunday, May 9th
8:00-11:00 am: Water Session #1
11:00 am-12:00 pm: Break
12:00-3:00 pm: Water Session #2
3:00-3:15 pm: Closing Remarks

Eligibility:
The USA Water Polo Southwest Zone ODP Camp is for all athletes (boys and girls) born in 1992 & Younger that have 2010 Gold level memberships with USA Water Polo.
ODP Camp Costs:
