Below is event information and schedule for the Texas Age Group State Championships being held April 25...

....in San Antonio following the TISCA High School State Championships.

Date: Sunday, April 25th. Games will begin at 8:30 am on Sunday, April 25th and be completed by 3:30 pm (pool opens for warm-up at 7:30 am). On April 23-24, the TISCA Texas High School Water Polo State Championships will be competed locally at the same pool location, 1604 Northside ISD Natatorium. Come up early and watch the games on Saturday and play on Sunday.

Division & Teams:
6th grade & younger Coed/12 & under: Houston Storm, Dirty Bay, Cy Fair, and Dallas
8th grade & younger Coed/14 & under:
• A Bracket: St Marks, Houston Storm, Dirty Bay
• B Bracket: Dallas, Cy Fair, San Antonio

Format: The 6th grade & younger Division will play a round robin between all four teams to determine who plays in the 6th grade & younger Championship Game. The 8th grade & younger Divisions will play a round robin in each bracket. These games will seed the Championship Round. All games will be five minute quarters using USA Water Polo rules (including determining advancement from Round Robin play). All teams will have two timeouts per game. If needed because of a tie after four quarters, a Sudden Victory overtime period will be played in placement or advancement games (round robin games will NOT play overtime). Awards: Championship Banners will be given to the 1st & 2nd place teams in each division. The 1st place team in each division will also receive individual medals for each team member.
