... many teams will be playing their first games of the new year.

At Southlake, the Dallas WPC is hosting the 19th running of the Charles Dutton Memorial Tournament with separate open and womens divisons. The main club team from the area, plus two teams from the Naval Academy club in Annapolis, MD will be competing.

In both Houston and Dallas, the 8th Grade and 6th Grade junior water polo leagues kick off their first league game days (the Dallas junior league games we be at the same pool as the Charles Dutton tournament).

In the non-USAWP club world, high school tournaments begin the seasons in the Houston and Dallas high school regions (see http://www.tiscawaterpolo.org/).
