...2009 National Collegiate Men's Water Polo Championship hosted by Princeton University on December 5-6.
In the first game, the University of Southern California (24-2) will play Princeton University (15-11). The second game will match Loyola Marymount University (19-7) versus University of California, Los Angeles (22-6). Game times are 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time respectively on December 5. The third-place game will be played at noon Eastern time, December 6, with the championship game at 2 p.m. Eastern time. The national championship game will be televised live on CBS College Sports Network.
Conferences receiving automatic qualification included the: Collegiate Water Polo Association (Princeton), Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (UCLA) and the Western Water Polo Association (Loyola Marymount). The remaining team was selected at-large without geographical restrictions (USC).
